BTW my prior orders usually took ~6 weeks from end of production to delivery but with current IBS and steering spindle issues, who knows.

I believe the factory in SC already has this. When I watched the production video the presenter was asking why there were camera flashes at certain stages of the line. He responded that customers with special orders could look up their vehicle by VIN and watch it as it went through certain stages of construction.

That makes sense for the factory where every step of the assembly process is tied to the VIN so it’s easy to do. After it leaves though I suspect onboard cameras do the rest, if that’s the plan. I’ve toured the Spartanburg plant a couple times over the years and it never fails to impress. And I was in consumer durable goods manufacturing for 35 years.
