Seven Spice Lamb Loin + organic farro + pistachio persillade + harissa (from Limones).

(Highly unusual for me.)

We’ve got family round for homemade pizza tonight, and I’m rather excited. I made a sourdough starter about 10 days ago, and have been feeding it daily, so the day has finally come.

Yesterday, I made the dough, needed it by hand then let it prove overnight. I’ve just knocked it back and divided into equal balls, where they’ll sit in the fridge until mid afternoon. I’ll get them up to room temperature for about an hour, then it’s all systems go.

All of the toppings are from an Italian deli in town, the cheese is a Fior di Latte (Napoli cut), which shouldn’t leak a load of water out when cooking, I’ve got thick cut pepperoni, cubed pancetta and authentic Italian sausage.

JJ 911SC You need to take a look at the offerings Flat Iron pepper make. I picked up 4 bottles about 2 weeks ago. So much better than those red flakes you keep using.

Actually while you can use it in soup, it is best as a side dish like you would use rice.
