That's what i'm getting at with attention grabbers. Of course car people will understand what a regular stingray is vs a GT4 but you park both in a lot and unless you have the shitty shit color zeus on your C8, that car is pulling more eyes than a 718. The C8Z will make everyone nut in their pants for a long ass time. Especially if production will be limited and they don't produce enough per model year, combined with the fact that most corvette owners don't drive their cars much, forget it. Seeing one on the road is like watching lana rhodes twerk on her IG live. Everyone will be looking. |

Has nothing to do with what's better, faster, better engineered or more expensive. If we're talking attention grabbers, it's going to the C8. |

My Hellcat, over 4 years later, still gets a lot of attention & compliments. I'm honestly surprised it does. It's just a Dodge Charger with a big engine and some suspension & it's mass produced...like the Corvette |

Those handful of 458 listed under $200k are trash. 30k+ miles, couple have a bunk title. I certainly don't advise anyone to buy the cheapest example of a Ferrari. If its under $200k, it has multiple flaws. A normal person buying a 458 will search for one with a documented service history and is well kept. Not some dodgy example at a random "exotic" car dealer.

A C8 will turn heads more than a 718 is all i'm saying. I am not saying the C8 is the greatest car ever made. Ironically, my M3C doesn't turn any heads. Some cars do, some don't. The hellcat will, because i think most people want to steal it. That's why i ended up with the M3C and not a widebody charger HC. |

I think it’s obvious the C8 has more angles and aggressive lines over any Porsche. If that’s what you like, you get the C8. Both the C8 and 718 are awesome. I’m on the list for a C8Z (3-4 years wait) but also driving a 718 GTS 4.0 now. Ridiculously brilliant car and always makes me smile. I don’t think you can say one sucks and the other doesn’t. They’re both great, just different approaches.

It looks like the back end is welded to the front from two different cars, i am not good at verbalising my concerns but just before the rear wheels it gets super awkward, maybe someone else can explain what i am seeing but it never looks right, the front and the rear don't match. |

While the C8 has awkward rear proportions, I do think in person has a presence about it. You know you are looking at something different and maybe special. However the Z06 to me looks like the results of Corvette owner that went on a Pep Boys shopping spree. I'm sure the aero bits function to aid the performance but it looks as juvenile as a Civic Type R.

The C8 takes a lot of what made the CZ ZR1 look silly and repeats it. The C7 Z06 looked great, but the ZR1 turned up the Hanna Barbera factor way too high. I'm sure middle schoolers loved it, but it was just too goofy for adults. I feel like the C8 Z is too far down that path. |

Just talking about from an attention point of view. Corvettes have always, and will always turn heads. |

I'm just saying after finding out the differences between the 1LZ and the 2LZ, people are realizing it might not even be worth the extra 10k or so to go to the 2LZ. I did want heat/vent seats and a front lift would be nice but to me that doesn't justify the 10k to get that when the other things included in the trim i have no need/care for. I'm not even going to be tracking this car honestly. This will be my forever car. There's no more V8 for the C9 generation in my opinion. It'll probably be shrunken down to 2 or 3 variants at best and one of them will definitely be a full EV. The other probably twin turbo V6's with electric assist. We should be kissing GM's ass for still offering a V8, and NA v8 that makes almost 700hp at this time when everyone has gone hybrid and smaller displacement engines. I can't wait for macmulkin to call me to place my order. |

I think the ultimate reasoning behind such a large rear trunk, is the Eray and Zora will use the front trunk area for electric drive units. Leaving only the rear trunk for those models. Stingray and Z06 just get the benefit of two storage areas. C7 owners were use to a very large rear storage area.

i personally dont see the value in the 2LZ or 3LZ
but for someone that is a flipper or swaps sports cars every few years... getting all the options and highest trim packages is the smarter move. |

That will be me if I ever get one. They can keep those ugly ass carbon rims!! Or just sell them the day after I buy it. Clear wrap and wheels immediately
