What's traditional Finnish architecture?

Wow, that's pretty broad in scope, but actually seems like a pretty fair warning.

Let's take a moment to examine how broad that statement is...architecture being defined as "the complex or carefully designed structure of something"

So let us see...that would include:
- traditional Finnish women (check)
- traditional Finnish food (mostly check, though I'm sure there must be some good food)
- traditional Finnish buildings (apparently check)
- All of the Finnish government (check)
- etc etc etc

I can't really disagree with you here! Shockingly, we seem to have reached a tenuous point where we agree with one another!

My inlaws needed extra sleeping space for their guests they never have over so they decided to build an extra cabin to their summer home. Fine.

The build is a two store high log cabin made from wood that is thick enough to be sustainable during winter.

Unfortunately here it means the matherial has to be sooooo fucking heavy even with dry timber and with three people building, it is a lot.

But, since this is finland, there is no way a man doesn't build things on his own, I'm allowed to help since I'm like a man. But sadly fil is really ill and I'm more like only sick so the logs go up...

He can't hold or lift anything and I can't work alone since his feelings would be hurt and of course nobody can be hired... I mean, I get his attitude but at this moment, after five days, and now hanging 3 meters above the ground, I seriously need help.

(I'll google you a pic if my hands still move enough.)

We have epic architects. They've build epic things there and here but the traditional (19th century) shit should be burned so nobody copies them.

Omg.

My mother in-law wants to cook for us.

We started Saturday, so I've been eating cheese from my cheese dashed for five days. She cooks my favorite dishes for sure but for example a few days ago she made a delicious chicken dish, a favorite of mine.

I marinade the meat for three days ( salt, peppers, fresh herbs) then I take a color to them on the pan, then I cook them in the oven for an hour or two in cream, spring cheese and more herbs, I let it simmer so long the cream is the sauce and then I serve it with rice I carefully measure with the spices and liquids to the kettle.

"it tastes the same, right?!"

She cooked the chicken breasts by boiling them in non fat milk. With no other ingredients.

Oh well, it's a diet.

Is this the mystery woman?

And I thought it was kind of strange asking a forum, with the majority of members based in the US, a Finland related question

I know someone perfect but hes in the DC area.

So fuckjng sexy.

I'm starving to death, sick as a dog, there is no muscle in my body that doesn't hurt and I just blew up at lunch because fuck my life I did not know anyone could destroy lasagna.

This is the last time I'll eat anything cooked by my mil, or be at the same space as her while food is present. I can't do this shit.

I was at the neighbor's (also close friend's) farm yesterday and the one single son (also 6' and a handsome guy) who is my age was weedwhacking in his garden (he is the general manager of a VERY classy restaurant and a world renowned chef) as his father was feeding the multitude of high end horses they board (all with a recently fused wrist at the age of 65, years of hard work and semi pro hockey ruined it!). The grandfather was a pilot in WWII, came home and started an aerospace company that took very good care of the family. None of them rested on their laurels and all have made something of themselves in their own way. My point is city life seems to be full of the same thing and the same kind of people. Cutthroat. Back to basics farm life has ideals and ethics. If she can find an intelligent hardworking farm boy, she will be happy plus wont have to waste money on fashion!
I'm so glad you made sure to insert "happily off the market". We wouldn't want your girlfriend to go around harassing female members to accuse them of cheating with you again.
You are def owed an apology for that. She is a good person but also Italian and a little quick to jump to conclusions. Thank you for being so nice and honest about it all and your comment about me seeming pretty dedicated to her def helped!

Guys, help me out. Where do the good guys hide these days?
I'm not asking for much.

1. The guy has to be smart.

2. No fucking idiotic hippie shit (he's gonna be stuck with me too).

3. 6ft 2" minimum. Edit: She's 174 cm and I asked, she has enough shoes for emergency use so 180 cm is the limit)

4. An appreciation for idiotic adventures required.
I know someone, mid 30's, visiting Finland soon.He loves Scandinavian women.

Can you email him her picture?
