No cooking today, went to our local Harvester to meet friends to celebrate their wedding anniversary and wife and I had grilled chicken skewers with the trimmings.

I can't stand stuffed peppers. Same thing with cabbage rolls. My wife loves them

It's funny because I like boiled cabbage with olive oil and vinegar, and I love sauteed peppers and onions in a bun with veal cutlets or sausage

My in-laws are staying with us for a while. My MIL has been boiling (yes, boiling) a piece of beef (maybe flank - I saw zero marbling in a flat piece of beef) since 3 p.m. EDT. No idea how much longer it will go. My wife says it is for some Nicaraguan shredded beef dish.

I think it's a ploy to get me to learn Spanish. Por favor no esperes que me coma eso.
