Been a while since my last post (work, photo jobs, wedding planning all killing me). Been shooting a lot of film and instant film recently (bought a scanner). Finally started developing rolls. First scans are from a Yashica 35 electro that i bought pristine for 45 bucks. Did it on not so great film, but i really like the results that i'm getting.

Nice shots, folks. Lovin' the geese, Ed.

High haze and clouds made tonight less than ideal for moon shots, but I wanted to try out the 7D MkII with the 400mm f5.6 and 1.4x TC III combo.

It was hazy here as well, but the moon was shining at me through my back door so i had to do it. Used my go-to moon lens, the Tamron 150-600.

Some sort of disagreement. I had a great day working up an appetite for turkey dinner.

Taken at sunrise this morning.
I would have loved to have gone up to the lighthouse, or somewhere a little more photogenic than this, but there just wasn't time.

Love the wolf shots.

Great marsh shot, Ed. Wonderful tones throughout.

Cool rainbow, Alan. Your backyard? Looks like a very nice neighborhood.

Another one from yesterday morning. But no way I could get all of the secondary bow in the frame.

One more goose shot. The photos don't do justice to the spectacle of seeing and hearing thousands of birds lifting off at once in person.

Don't forget that you can take two and stitch them together.

Still, great shot.

I was just getting ready to pack it in and head for home when I caught the slightest movement out of the corner of my eye. This was taken from a long way off and is a pretty heavy crop. I wish I could have gotten a bit closer as all that grass was playing havoc with the autofocus, but I was in the middle of the road with no where to pull off. Still, it is always a thrill to me to see a real live wildcat in their own environment.

I love wildlife. Just hard to come upon a lot of it in NJ.
