I wasn't a huge fan of the champagne dial at first but I enjoy it a lot now (datejust 41).

I saw a Rolex 116000 OP blue dial that I really like. It's 36mm which for me is ideal size for dress/casual watch. I'm not a fan of watches bigger than 40mm. Does anyone have any experience with this model/blue dial Rolex. Thanks.

Rolex 40mm is not big. Its the perfect size. My wrist size is 6.75" and all 40mm fits perfect. Go with your wrist size.

In regards to 116000, its a good watch. All Rolex watches are excellent. Plus they do have 39mm for this series.

Just make sure you check out the physical shop first or read through many reviews for an online dealer. Lots of shady stuff happens when you go to a non AD.

If you are on the watch forums, there's some good deals to be had buying from reputable members.

I had a good deal on my ceramic Submariner. I wasn't planning to buy it but I couldn't resist when I saw the price - I could have easily sold it for profit even if I didn't want it. I got it at a dealer in Japan when the exchange rate was over 120 yen/dollar. I was not a fan of the Sub but it grew on me. Now it's one of my favorite go to watches.

Rolex has been pumping up the price of the Sub... the price now is pretty ridiculous! It's not a rare watch but because the price of a new one keeps going up, it artificially inflates the price of pre owned ones. That is part of the reason why a lot of watch enthusiasts hate Rolex.

Start with Rolex AD first.
Online buying is hit and miss. I do not prefer buying online.

Might add the 116000 blue dial to my collection. My white dial Datejust, and Submariner need company. I can’t figure out why watches become a addiction. Lol...

I like the new rhodium dial DJ41 on jubilee and fluted bezel a lot.

The DJ41 is a little too big for me, and flashy. The extra 5m in size gives the watch a different look in my opinion. I don’t go bigger than 40m. My 36m DJ I feel is the perfect size. Could be worn with a suit, or jeans and T-shirt.

Nice AirKing 1992. I love it’s simplicity. A piece I would definitely own. In Fact, my Seiko Sarb033 is very similar.

DJ41 with fluted is out of this world. I wear it even with my shorts.
