After some time at the range yesterday I made a semi-impulse purchase. Sig P365x TACOPS. Haven't shot it yet but intend to tomorrow. Coming from a G17 and a Browning HP (full size frames) this thing feels great in the hands.

Nice firearm, my former neighbor is a retired GA State Trooper and he carries one. I like my G17.5 and went with a 43x with night sights. Enjoy yours!

I decided to give my old .308 rifle a facelift. Original build was an H-S Precision stock with an old second focal plane MOA scope

Swapped the barreled action into an MDT Oryx chassis with an MDT GRND bipod, Arken FFP scope and Arken rings. So much more adjustability!

Received the Banish 45 and Banish 22 suppressors this week. I was able to put a couple rounds of varying types through a couple different long and short guns. I went out and bought a variety of different ammunition to see how it sounds and if it cycles the action and works flawlessly etc. but got busy. Supposed to be warm enough tomorrow that I can stay outside and play in the back yard for a while. Sorry for the messy pics, it's muddy spring here and we have 4 hairy dogs lol so this is the worst time of the year. It will probably take an hour today to pick up the dog poop from out 1.5 acre yard. The thing with the carbine is that the velocity out of the muzzle is possibly as high as 25% more than what is speced, so that needs to be considered if I want to stay subsonic. Maybe I should have went with the LC Carbine in 45 auto, there's still time.

How do you like that Ruger PC Carbine? I've had my eye on one for a while.

I really like it. So much so that I'm thinking about getting the LC carbine in 45 auto also. I have a couple 32 round magazines and it is quite fun for ringing steel targets. Is is a bit heavy for a smaller persons, my wife can't get through all 32 without getting unsteady or having to rest, I told her she needs to shoot faster and get caught up in the excitement of it.

I just got a Ruger PC Carbine. The same as iX nOOky. But the hinge is busted after one manipulation. Ruger customer support had no clue what I was talking about when I contacted them. Apparently, Ruger has this model but haven't updated their parts schematic or documentation to reflect the folding stock version exists for the PC Carbine. They wanted me to ship them my entire rifle or have my local dealer ship it back to them. I thought this was absurd as it's only a stupid hinge and I haven't even fired a single round through it yet. I told the rep through my own research that the LC Carbine uses the same folding stock setup. She swore up and down that they're not the same.

I took my rifle to my local dealer and told him the situation. He said he'd look into it. Through his own research he agreed with me that the folding stock is the same as the LC Carbine. He contacted Ruger support himself. After some back and forth, he finally found someone that understood the situation and figured things out. They're supposed to be shipping the whole folding stock assembly to my dealer. So far it's been just over a week and nothing has been received yet.

I'll probably head to the range soon to run the rifle.

So you're using a Banish 45 on the PC Carbine and not a 9mm one? I plan on suppressing mine too and running 147/150 grain ammo. What ammo are you using?

Bummer about the stock. Mine was really tight when folded, I almost thought I would break it opening it back up, it felt locked. But it just took a good tug, after a few times it's easier.

Right now yes I have the Banish 45 on the pc carbine or screwed onto my SS MR920 pistol. I plan to put the Banish 45 on the Ruger LC 45ACP I just ordered today and get another suppressor for 9mm. The Banish has the ability to swap out the piston and go from 45 down to 22lr, but I only ordered the 9mm spare piston.

I'm debating on what optic for the new 45 carbine, possibly the Holosun 510c with the green reticle.

I bought a bunch of 9mm and 22lr ammo to shoot through both the two suppressors I ordered. As for 9mm I think the 147 Federal was the loudest, and the Winchester Suppressed the quietest. They are organized in order in the attached picture from loudest to quietest based on my testing. 115 and 124 grain stuff of course still makes a crack through the carbine, still need ear plugs.

Thanks for the reply and the info on the ammo you used. Have you done any mods to your PCC? And have you had any cycling issues running the subsonic ammo (both unsuppressed and suppressed)?

Forgot to mention, I have a 510C on my Orthos Raider S4 shotgun. I have the red reticle. No complaints although I haven't had a chance to spend time zeroing it. The way it's set up it was some what close with the skeet shooting I was doing.

For my PCC, I have a Eotech 512.

No issues, and no mods. Looks like a weekend here with decent enough weather to go out and play some more.

Just hope you don't have issues with the hinge. Then you'll have a frustrating time getting Ruger to figure out their own product and the proper parts needed. I did some research to see how common the hinges on these folding stocks fail. So far from the PC Carbine side, not too many thankfully. But the other instances I found all complained about how the hinge progressively got looser. Mine won't lock in the folding position as any kind of shaking of the rifle will cause the folded stock to swing open.

Still waiting for my replacement hinge/stock assembly and it's now over a week. The one person I found on the Ruger forums was waiting for almost two months with no replacement part. Someone asked for an update but he didn't reply back. I'm hoping since I have my local dealer involved that I'll get it in a reasonable amount of time. Might have to start shopping around for an alternative folding stock.

Nice! I find it to be a lot of fun. I have a backyard range of sorts, and I'm putting up a couple new plates at varying distances today. I'm going to probably waste a lot of time tonight watching videos of RDS's as I shop and decide what to buy for the new LC also.

Missed this reply from you. Yeah, very disappointed. Haven't even fired a round through it yet.
