The rage slipped yesterday. It's all Sedan's fault.

As I am arriving at my house, I have to go around this big azz red pickup, just stopped there in the roadway, chatting with her passenger, clueless to the other vehicles going around her both directions.

I parked, got out just as she was now mossying down the street, and expletives emerged from my mouth. She didn't even glance my direction

BUT, I didn't honk, and the car wasn't on when the expletives emerged. Does that even count???

It wasn’t a short trip either - we were going to Singapore. So my family, my sister and her family all boarded the flight and left everyone else behind. Talk about mixed feelings…i legitimately felt equal parts sad, disappointed, frustrated and amused looking at the others’ faces as we left them outside the security check-in

What I remember now was the frustration during the long flight and then when we got there we started talking about it and found it uproariously funny

Since I already threw them under the bus, I might as well have the bus back over my mom - apparently she held most of the passports - hers, my dad's, and my unmarried sibs. And they all got passports the same time so they expired the same time. We siblings with families handled our own shit, thankfully.

I remember some time after this happened to us, at least some airlines stopped letting you book a ticket without providing passport info

Gas prices were going up before Ukraine. The national average cost of diesel Nov 2, 2020 was $2.372, on Feb 2, 2022 it was $3.951 and this past Monday it hit $4.849. I am using diesel because I track it for work and have the info handy.

It is a tragedy what is going on there.
