Mine is going to a dealership in Baltimore, same ship as Todd’s. I wonder how long it’ll take since I looked it up and it’s about a 45min drive from the port to the dealership.

From everything I’ve read, the consensus seems to be 2-3 days at the VPC (assuming there’s no damage/repair orders ) for Priority 1 vehicles. Seems like yours would the first vehicle delivered on the day the truck leaves the VPC. I just don’t know how holidays put a wrench in transport.

BUT mine at least never showed that code. It showed 193 when it reached the port in Europe, then it showed 195 when it was on the boat, then it went back to 193 when the boat arrived in the US, then back to 195 a day or two later, then straight from 195 to "198 - arrived at dealership."

Tracking once it reaches the U.S. seems to be somewhat of a grey zone. Wish there was another status change of “awaiting carrier assignment” so you could conclude that all VPC work had been completed.

My dealer called when the car arrived - according to the My Garage, it had not yet been released to trucking.

Once unloaded, car spent about 3 days at the port, including waiting on a truck assignment.

I am about a 5 hr drive from the port.

This was the week before Thanksgiving.

Apparently sometimes the truckers will say they’ve delivered when they’re still en route. The example given to me by the finance guy at my dealership was they’ll drop most of their vehicles in Atlanta and mark their entire load delivered when they still had a few vehicles to drop off in Alabama.

My BMW CA told me that it’s cleared the VPC and has been “released for carrier assignment”. Just waiting on the trucking company now, it seems.
