We camped at June Lake when I was about 12. Sister was 9 and brother was 6. We slept in a JC Higgins umbrella tent and folks slept in the VW microbus. So that night I did the flashlight thing inside my sleeping bag, then held the skull in the air. It was pitch black in tent, so my arm and hand were not visible. Then I called my brother’s name, “hey look.” The scream was blood curdling. ��
