This is a little too recent for this thread, but it was hysteria for sure. Crazy time, not just for consumers but for companies. My company had nonstop consulting project for 2 years related to Y2K.

It's been the opposite for me. Kids have never really annoyed me too much. Being a grandparent of 6 great kids doesn't hurt. They keep me young.

They are fun. When I say they keep me young, I'm not kidding. Years ago after a car accident I quit snow skiing. Then my grand kids were getting old enough to start skiing and my son said, "Dad, you should start skiing again so you can ski with your grand kids". I went down and bought new equipment and got a season pass. That was 8 years ago and I've been skiing about 20 days per season ever since. The grand kids are pressing me now and I think this year they will be beating me down the hill. They love taking me on runs like "Ditch of Doom" and "Trench of Terror" so they can watch this old geezer try to navigate these windy, steep snow-covered creeks with his long skiis. I love it when they laugh at me!

Llarry what exactly is it that I would be "shoveling" before mowing the grass?? It seems early in the year to be putting manure onto grass for the Spring green.
