Whoah.....Kmag to Q3

Who would have thought that last year....a Haas car.

Mclaren has real problems.

Mercedes clearly has been sandbagging in all the practice sessions. No surprise there.
After qualifying it's waiting on the standard merc speech that the team did so well and all the gratitude to the fans that kept supporting them.
Straight from the marketing department.

Wonderful to see Ferrari up there, it's been too long. It would be amazing if three teams had a legitimate chance at wins all year.

Sucks about Aston Martin however, it's not looking good so Vettel's talents will be wasted for another year.

Looks like the W13 is still bouncing quite a bit, improvement from yesterday but seems like they're leaving performance and pace on the table because of it.

With this Ferrari engine, I wish Kimi would have been around for one more year.

Awesome Qualy!

It's going to be a great season. Welcome back Ferrari!

I feel for Riccardo and Lando, but looks like alot of improvement throughout the field. Good stuff. 👍

Mercedes has A LOT of work to do. This isn't sandbagging. I think Mercedes might have to stop being a bit too creative and innovative and just dial it back a bit and trust that HAM and RUS can extract the most of the car.

I think they will eventually get it done but at what expense and when? I think they feel like they have the ideal setup to run the field but can't get it tuned right so when do they give up and are they sacrificing points early on hoping to make it up as the season goes on?

Yup, huge surprise especially to see Mag in Q3 in a Haas and being out a year but great to see the bottom feeders from the past few years becoming more competitive to start this new era. Huge disappointment from AM and the team in orange, they’ve got a lot to sort out.

I’m happy I called I HAAS in Q3 and MAG out qualifying a Merc, honestly if anyone had any money on that well done.

Great to see Ferrari at the sharp end, their engines look really strong, Redbull right where everyone expected them. Merc not sandbagging at all they look bouncy as hell and they are riding higher than everyone else so plenty of performance still to be found there. Big mistake on the fresh tyres on the last run for Russell as well so plenty to learn.

Now time to see who has the race pace and will be able make the tyres last. Hearing 2 stop for most teams due to wear at the moment. Game on this season is looking good.

They found some time compared to the practice, but the time difference between HAM and RUS is now huge.
That is also a problem.

Does anyone know why Kmag didn't set a time in Q3?
Apparently I missed that but there is no time on q3 results. But he still starts from P7? (which is ofcourse unreal for a Haas)
The gap between kmag and msc is also considerable.

Of course, Max doing max things. That kid is absolutely unreal. Say what you want about him, but he maximizes every last bit of performance of any car you put him in.

I hope Mclaren can show something during quali, but I'm not holding my breath. Come on Lando!!! I'm keeping the faith!!!

Within 20 min. they will pull the Ferrari PU mappings to a higher QF level !

Earlier this week , Binotto said : Ferrari Isn't meant to race for P2 because Ferrari is legendary !
I'm convinced the 2022 Ferrari PU is a masterpiece !

That's why Binotto has a smile on his face !
Well....That's what I said about Ferrari

Good to see Ferrari and HAAS (Kevin) back in the front again ..
For HAAS It's a Miracle .. Interesting !!!

Disappointed with the Mclaren and Aston Martin. Was really hoping Mclaren would follow their trajectory from last year and start getting consistent poles. Hopefully they fix their braking issue.

KMag had a hydraulic leak and MSC over cooked it in a corner during his last lap.
