I understand waste but kinda tired or 3 or 4 engines for the entire season. It's racing, teams shouldn't have to turn power down to increase longevity. One engine per weekend sounds about right to me

Many people have interesting comments on F1, but you and waffle aren’t among them. All we hear from you two is your dogma from the comfort of someone’s basement while you have nothing productive in your lives going on.

I’m happy to see any and all F1 drivers and teams do well with the odd exception of nuisance drivers (Maldonado, Grosjean, etc).

Instead of interesting discussion we have you two screaming for attention in every F1 thread hardly missing an opportunity to demonstrate how little you understand about it.

Fair comment from Coulthard and kudos to him for that but it needed Max to bulldoze the BS being said before about him that he finally came around.. I've met Coulthard on a couple of occasions and he seems friendly enough; he did tend to go with the flow before as a commentator which wasn't always right.

The smaller teams can’t afford to research and engineer the cars without the big bucks of the top teams. If you want to get closer racing you need to make things simpler and reduce the amount ALL teams can spend.

Welcome to F1 2022+, hopefully more teams secured, better racing and still the pinnacle of motorsport. Lots to like.

Just doesn’t play well to car makers or their customers. Yes I know you got through last season with amazing engines and you only needed 4 or 5 of them but we want to use 20 next season.

That won’t play well in the current climate of sparse resources that are running out does it. They want to play the eco sustainable game, so bigger batteries and less sophisticated cheaper engines that last is the way they will go in the future.

I meant 20 simpler engines with no batteries. F1 should be entertainment and escape from reality. All of my friends would prefer a return to screaming V10s over turbo hybrid trash.

I would have been happy for VER had he won the driver’s title earlier in the year. Instead, he failed to make the most of his opportunities while RB had a better car. When he had control of the outcome he blew it too many times and allowed Merc back into the race. Had the rules been followed he would not have won.

If you’re still unable to understand what happened at Silverstone you likely will never understand. It was the beginning of the unfolding of FIA race management for which there have been consequences despite your views to the contrary.

VER was not judged to be in the right at Silverstone, he put himself in that situation. If your unique view is that the car on the inside needs to give way then VER would have been in the wrong many times subsequently.

At this early stage I would guess race leads will not be a private party for VER and HAM this year. More than anyone else, I’m thinking VER will find it a bit tougher going this year.
