made some gains with BGFV (Big 5), MVST, and SOFI but I am looking at a huge loss with PTON
GME has stayed above $210 so overall my account is up
but that PTON loss really sucks

i was stubborn with my PTON position. doubled down. got slammed.
got a margin call because PTON just got crushed.

If you like day trading FTV and CZR are fun. I've gone over to crypto and find it more enjoyable. Bigger gains, but there's a learning curve to identifying projects to invest in. I don't like pump and dump as a game plan so I only invest it what a believe in, but there is a huge hype element to crypto that can't be ignored.

I too got smoked with Peloton. Today I sold some to stop the bleeding. Mixed feelings on it, I want to be bullish because I think the product is best in class.

I guess I will take the assignment for the shares ... and just hold forever until it recovers some
sell some covered calls, like earn a dollar at a time to make up for the $7,000 loss

I’ve been losing on average about $20k on AMC, and I’m obviously holding because I don’t wanna take that huge loss. Is there a possibility I can recover little by little with puts?

WTH did you buy at $60 or something? Down 11% today, but I bought at $8 so no big deal.

My TSLA took a dump too. Down 12%. I knew it was going to be bad when I was already down more than $1k within the first few minutes of open. No big deal unless it continues. A good chunk of all the gains from last month is gone.

Hoping to get in on the RIVN IPO & taking this forum's advice and dropping $20k for the long haul in an ETF tomorrow as well.

Remember: Red means buy!

PTON was primed by the pandemic and people wanting to exercise indoors. That's just not the case anymore. I don't see it going lower than $30 though. Might stay there for awhile though or grow slowly. It's just too expensive for the kind of growth it needed to maintain its high of $160ish.

I bought 1200 shares at $53.89 which is about $65k. Im not beating myself over it because it was all from profits from Dogecoin. It’s my play money but of course I would like to try to recover it.
I’ve never done options, but from what I understand, I could buy some puts to recover some money if the stock goes down, which I know it’s been up and down which is why I’m unsure if I should risk such move to try to recover to just turn around and dig myself deeper in the hole.

you should have chosen GME, the one true play
not AMC, the wannabe

some blood in the water today with crypto and stocks.

i'd love to scoop some up.... but i just paid car property taxes and house is coming up next.

who knew a gt3 would be 20% more property tax than a 458. makes no sense.

that PTON mistake is costing me way more than just the direct loss on PTON
i was planning on buying more BGFV and SOFI shares but instead the money went to fulfill the margin requirement for the PTON loss

I bought a bit of rivian today. Might be worth something in 20 years.

Make sure you can stomach 50% down turn in the next few months.

And I'm wondering what happened with Dicks (-9%)? The beat all #s, and raised expectations.

What’s your view?

Today the SP is up 2.7% over the past month, this is a 37% CAGR excluding dividends, so close to 40% total return. If the market pulls back, which it always does, what should investors do?
