Oooh, very nice. I had a '12 Mustang GT, also with the Brembo package. That was an interesting experience. I had some minor suspension work done on it and what looks to be the same tires you're running in the pics.

I have to say that although it was a good car, I don't at all miss trading it in for a similar era M3. Perhaps I should have splurged for the premium pack in the mustang!

Thanks! Mine was Track Pack with a lot of Boss 302 parts. I also completely re-did the suspension. It handles great. But the thing I miss the most is the V8 and the way it would wind out. It was tuned, so redline was 7200 and it would get there in a hurry with 3.73 gears. Definitely faster over 60mph than the M2, and it pulled hard to 160mph. M2 can go 168, I've tried, but the Mustang made it an adventure.

My M2 handles better, and the chassies is more refined. I really just miss the instantaneous throttle response, torque everywhere over 2000rpm and the intoxicating sound of an NA V8.

first car was a ‘79 celica GT liftback. sold that and moved up to an ‘89 celica GT-S coupe. i had always coveted a supra and was on the verge of buying a brand new ‘92 Supra (MK III)....and then i saw the new 3-series (E36) and that was all she wrote. have owned 6 more bimmers since that first one...including 4 of them currently.

Do it. You will not be disappointed. It won't corner that well, it will have body roll but that can be fixed. And the gem of it all is the power train, and that will keep you smiling for years.

Awesome! Congrats. You should be. Treat it with respect, the tail end does not come out progressively in these cars, it tends to snap and you have to be ready to catch it.

Enjoy driving one of the fastest cars around, and the fastest Snake!

Yeah I was impressed by the drivability (3.31 gears help) around parking lots and and city driving. It’s fully optioned up with performance pack + track pack + recaros ect. I think it’s going to be a few weeks minimum before I get on it. I’m honestly very intimidated in a good way.

I'm not hooked. Started with BMW in 1978, up until Bangle made them ugly. Went to M-B for a while. Came back to BMW in 2005 when M-B became dowdy. But always had one neat car as a "serial car collector": MG TC, TD, 1932 F2; Healy 100-4 LeMans; Daimler SP 250; 65 Shelby GT 350 (SFM 5S180), Rolls Silver Shadow; 80 Porsche 911, 74 Ferrari 246 GTS Dino, 68 Ferrari 330GT; Nissan GTR; Porsche 991.1 C2S.

Currently

2006 Evo 9 (weekend)
2016 golf R (daily)
Awd talon (project car)
BRZ (wrecked)

Before the R I wanted to get a RS3 but finding the perfect options was very limited so I settled for the R.

Always wanted a BMW and so thinking in selling the Evo for a f80 or f87 but it's hard letting go

Drove mostly your run-of-the-mill economy cars such as civics & camrys. The F22 is a fantastic upgrade!
