I didn’t get the impression that he was alluding to the fact that we make things up. More so that we’re acutely aware of the entire process, average time frame, etc. versus the average consumer that shows up, knows little about the vehicle they decide to buy, are unaware of options and do no research in advance. We’ve seen it here, when new members come on the forum to vent that the vehicle they got did not have “X” options.

They did little advanced preparation prior to the purchase or order, and didn’t read every single line item of standard equipment, nor did they ask questions. It’s unfortunate, because now they’re unhappy, but at the same time they really have no one to be frustrated with other than themselves. Especially if what they were wanting was available in another package.

I did voice my frustration that other vehicles had leapfrogged ahead of mine at the port, and he could offer no explanation. It really doesn’t make sense to me.

The company that owns the logistics center and auto terminal at Bremerhaven is BLG Logistics Group. Once BMW has the vehicle transported to the port my assumption is that it’s under this company’s control until it’s turned over to W&W or NYK. So, if there’s a finger to point and yell shit show, once it reaches Bremerhaven, I think these people are likely to blame.

Well, BMW Customer Service was wrong. My car was transported from the factory to Zeebrugge, Belgium. It’s onboard the Polaris Highway and it’s a direct ship to Baltimore. Due to arrive on the 17th or 18th

Irvine BMW, also going through a broker.

He's trying to see how fast they can prep the car, then figure out where I'm meeting my broker for delivery as Irvine is a bit of a drive (I'm in the SFV, right by you)

Let us know how the reflector install goes. I’m really curious how difficult it is to get to them on the G60.
