I woke up super-early this morning and couldn't fall back to sleep, so I decided to do something naughty and go out to Micky D's for breakfast. Placed my order and paid in their mobile app, and then drove to the 24/7 restaurant to pick it up. When I arrived, the lights were on...but there was a sign on the drive-through speaker saying that due to staff shortages they would be closed until 7:00 AM.
On the bright side, my alternate breakfast of a yummy banana and a cup of Irish breakfast tea was probably a healthier choice.....

Slept ten hours so it's a bit of fruit then tea and toast with my favourite l/f cheese spread, just one triangle and no jam.

This mornings brekkie is sliced apples and pears from my rentals' overgrown garden with yesterday's half banana then porridge with chia seeds and green tea flavoured with salted caramel to set me up for the coming day.
