I like mine with Ketchup but the "sauce brune" seem to be more popular in English Canada

Went to a Great restaurant called Kyma in Roslyn. It was one of their appetizers we got for the table. I was less than excited until I took the first bite.

It was amazing so I decided to recreate it for my family a week later. I did pretty well.

The other night my wife came home with a red plastic bag (carniceria) I knew there was something good headed my way.

Got to the dinner table, there was sour cream, salsa, tortilla warmer, and a tray of meat. Don't know what kind, looked vaguely like T-bone, but much thinner sliced.

French onion soup.

I discovered a tub of onion soup base in my secondary freezer. Added one cup of French Syrah. Garnished with garlic croutons, shredded Emmental and Gruyère.
