See thats another thing a lot of people don't agree with me... I don't like using the "whole song" because it gets repetitive and boring... for people who aren't enjoying that particular track, they tune you out and generally talk shit lol...

I'm the school of thought of around ~3 minutes or so per song.

listeninng to it now... I kinda understand what you mean by why my mix sucks... there isn't any continuity / flow like yours.

you bring in new songs like its part of the song... i "fade" them in... which makes it super obvious when there is a transition.

i just need to keep screwing around with virtual dj until i can get it to do the things i want it to do... because i have a sound in my head on how I want it to go like... but it doesn't do that because i just don't know how to make it do it lol

Lol just practice until you're good man thats all there is to it. Also listen to other DJs' mixes and live sets. Do you have a controller or are you ghetto like me with a mouse and keyboard? haha I'm just saving up for a nice CDJ system. Damn thing is too expensive. Glad you like my mix by the way.

ghetto haha... I'm using Virtual DJ with the CDJ1000 skin... I like it a lot actually.
