We need a top view of all the cars since I haven't seen the Sauber nor the Force India on top view, I dislike the Macca and the Lotus, the Ferrari is disappointing but not as ugly, we need to see the RBR.
All in all, design of the cars ir purely functional and has never been aesthetic, the nose so low is to make air "jump" the intake to avoid turbulence with the exhaust hot gas and so on, I wasn't expecting "pretty" cars, but those penis like noses are horrible!

"The rules are very clear in that the tip of the nose must have a single cross-section and the canny folk at Lotus have made one of the tusks slightly longer than the other to comply with the rules."
If they were the same length, the nose would have two cross-sections. By making one shorter than the other, it complies to the rule as the shorter one wouldn't be part of the cross section. It's all about finding loopholes lol

That Caterham is horrible looking.
I agree the Mercedes is the most pleasing to the eyes, followed by the Redbull and Ferrari. |

That Caterham is rough... wasn't the point of the rule change to get rid of the high pointy nose?

Yeah I noticed that too. Pretty clever because from certain angles it's really hard to distinguish the shape of the nose.

It seems we have two very different designs. The vacuum cleaner nose adopted by Ferrari and Benz and the pointy beak/s adopted by the rest. It should make for two quite different aero flows. Pleaaaaaase tell me that Benz and Ferrari isn't doomed from the start. It's scary when you are on the other side of Adrian Newey's choice.
