Acura is really serious about providing that Ferrari/GT3 experience with the upcoming NSX.

Watching the video above, something was missing. Sound! That car was way too damn quiet. While I'm sure it probably performs well, part of the "supercar experience" is that supercar sound. And it lacks pretty much any sound other than tire squeal.

x2 I'm not a big Honda fan in general but those cars age so well.

Who knows what driving mode it was in during those laps. Doesn't look like full tilt.

Here is a video with exhaust sound. Sounds really good. The NSX will have a 3.5L V6, not wimpy 3 cylinder like the i8.

I still wish they never dumped this...

The original NSX prototype, NA V10 engine. The program was canned in late 2008 due to the recession and Honda later restarted with the version we see today.

Yeah the used the vehicle for Super Gt though.

They did, but you can't have a Super GT car without having a production (or at a minimum, production ready car) to base it off of.

As the video mentions, the car was going to be the next NSX until it was canceled.

The last time we saw this, it burned to the ground. It was spotted on 10/30/2014 again in Nordschleife and slightly different. Same as the video but here's some stills.

Damn, that is a great looking ride. Glad they are coming out with something worth looking at. Whether it will perform within it's price range against competitors....., I'm pretty doubtful.

With a a V6 Biturbo and 3 electric engines, 4WD and DCT, it can only be a performer...
