I saw the episode tonight, it was great. Those were some bat shit crazy mofos. I'm sure a lot of the show is scripted and I wouldn't doubt they might make some of the people look worse than they really are, but I don't think you can fake this level of crazy at least not without winning an oscar or something.

I think they have said that most of it is actually scripted, but this one the producer had to step in for the dude who didn't get the pizza and that was real. These people are the real deal crazy.

You can see at the end of the Kitchen Nightmares episode, the TV crew taking down all the cameras and so on ...that plus the shocked expressions on Gordon Ramsay's face which I in turn was shocked to see. I have seen nearly all of the Kitchen Nightmares episodes and several other shows featuring Gordon Ramsay ...never seen that look as exaggerated as it was in this episode.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials are investigating Bouzaglo, an Israeli citizen, regarding time he spent in prison prior to his immigrating to the United States. Bouzaglo's immigration lawyer did not disclose details of the case to the Republic, but the paper, citing a "high-ranking law enforcement source," reports that Bouzaglo's international record hints at involvement in "drug distribution, threats, and extortion."

When I worked in NY, we had these cases all the time. Immigration doesn't have anywhere enough resources to investigate applicants, so it's essentially an honor system. Only if someone commits a major crime or is suddenly famous for another reason (as here) will people look into the details.
