Good advice, Hate how one guy parking on the lines triggers a reaction for everyone next to him to move over the lines, often find spaces i can barely fit the car in :/
i'm really surprised however at how "normal" it seems for you guys to get keyed ?? People over here might leave a note or will get a bit mad, but noone ever keys a car over here :/ It's someone else's property, you shouldnt touch that. Except illegals in the city that just scratch up some random parked cars for fun maybe Altho driving a BMW does get you some looks at times, i really don't mind, just smile at them kindly Don't think they like that but o well |

most places around the world has the culture to park reverse...just the ppl in the US of A prefer head in method....i guess reverse in too compliated matter for them..... i dun see head in to be more faster...i've seen shit load of time ppl can't widen their angle to head in and have to move 8 times more compare for my head in.... plus...my car was almost hit once when a mofo is about to pull out his spot without checking his rear and "floor" his car F&F style in reverse....missed my car by like an inch... by reverse in...u can see where u going when ur driving out...not hitting other ppl when u back out.....

I bought myself a really expensive watch (relatively speaking) when I got my first job. It was too expensive for me (at the time) and I was a wreck over it. Every little scratch or scuff on it sent me through the roof. I didn't even want to wear it.
Then someone said to me, if you can't relax and enjoy something nice, then it's too expensive for your means. He was so right. |

Park far... really far... unreasonably far. If your wife/gf doesn't get pissed and say "why the fuck did you park way out here..." keep going further. Make dinner reservations... specify window seats. Keep your eyes locked onto your car for the whole meal. Be ready to pounce out as so as you sense an idiot approaching. Avoid the need to park in public at all costs!!! Send someone in to get into the store while you wait outside. Watching a movie on your 65-inch plasma with a Bang & Oulfsen 7.1 surround system is just as good as going to the movies. Install a steam room and a jacuzzi tub at home to avoid going to the day spa. Learn how to cook gourmet style to make eating at home just as good. Most importantly... get a second car that you don't love and do all the dirty work with it.

A solution for all the dumb ass parking peoples out there.
Just spit on their windshield or on the back of this attached picture and stick it on their windsheild

- park next to cars with sliding doors
- distance yourself if you are stuck in the middle - park closer to the car that will less likely to have a passenger (comes down the educated guess) - park next to similar/luxury cars (can be a double edged sword) - dont park next to cars bigger than yours - park away from the competition - dont park in high traffic areas - don't park next to soccer mom cars cause of the kids - dont park too close to others - get a beater car - put cute girly stuff in your car following all this, i have yet to receive a ding. knock on wood.

Bad idea, that usually means soccer mom with kids. so that people think you r gay? Last time I check, dings on cars have nothing to do with the driver's sexual orientation.
