I can't tell you how many times I've told people that. I graduated with a 3.9 from my HS. I never had to lift a finger or open a book to get A's and B's. When I got to college, I have never worked so hard in my life to make a C. Almost got put on probation for my scholarship after my first semester even though I was busting my ass to do good. I just had developed horrible study techniques and time management from HS.

You think you have it rough? Last semester I took honors organic II, Biochem, Quantitative Analysis, Genetics, Physical Chemistry I with lab, and Organic lab. That semester, I lived in the library. I know people that are working harder and taking more classes than me..that's fuckin insane lol.

University of Oklahoma? no offense but that is a far cry (work load wise) from an ivy league work load... especially when you add grade DEFLATION on top of a ridiculous work load because you have too many geniuses in your school for a typical grading system to work

College educations dont mean much anymore. Just about everybody has one. Better start preparing for graduate studies.

ya i wish i could do that too. i dont know why people always put others down for being good at school most of the time, being all jealous and stuff.

like i suck at school (i dont but im a perfectionist) it but that doesnt mean i have to hate everyone that is good at it. everyone has skills that others dont you just have to make the best of them.

We live on a tiny blue rock in the middle of the universe. Do I really need to study for this useless boring ass class right now? Acing this test will not make the difference between me being successful or not. /rant

Fucking hate this major.

7.5 years of university here. Completed a degree in Civil Engineering and then did a Masters in Structural Engineering. Definitely had no life for the better part of those 7.5 years, I worked part time while I finished my Masters. I was pretty much at my physical limit by the end, I could not have did another semester I think. Funny thing is I have been out of school now for about 8 years and I still wake up at night with cold sweats and panic thinking I missed an assignment deadline or forgot about a final exam date!
