I think the days of riding with a partner are over for alot of department. I've done ride-alongs with the local PD and I know that all of them ride solo.

I'm thinking the cop didn't take her to the ground or break out the baton because he didn't want to further antagonize the crowd. He was greatly outnumbered and was just buying time until his back-up showed up.

Well deserved. You want equality? You got it. If that was 2 white males resisting arrest and pushing the cop they would have been treated the exact same way, or probably worse. The real story here is the clearly biased headline for the story. Bottom line, do what the cops tell you to do. None of this would have happened if she let him issue the ticket for breaking the law, no matter how trivial the offense (remember, that is his job).
