I have the opposite problem. I can hardly see the tv, but I can see my alarm clock.

I want to get it done too. Just was always worried about the chance of them ending up worse; plus the cost. But my vision insurance sucks now and I'm spending almost $1k/year for contacts so it'd pay for itself in a short time.
