Footie, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, in that you just couldn't find a picture of a blue avant.
But so far, all of your picture postings in this thread have been clearly biased. Set 1: photoshop vs non-photoshop. (possibly top range vs. base model as well) Set 1/2: Are older models of the 3 series, which should be matched to the B7 S4. Set 3: You aren't even showing an Avant anymore. Might as well just post a comparative picture of an M3 since the price of the new S4 can get up that high. Fully loaded can reach $63k. As for which looks better, the new S4 is great looking. But to argue or try to convince people that it looks better is a bit pushy. Telling people 'what they should think looks better' is a loosing battle.

Though I'm not totally pro-audi, after all I chose the Jaguar XF over the S4 but that decision was financial with the XF Portfolio being stock with no extras need and thus no additional loses incurred from extras compared to the S4 which would have needed £9.5K of extras to meet my requirement and would loses at least two-thirds of that on resale, the other reason was I wanted something more relaxing to drive yet still corner surprisingly well which the Jag does. The S4 is more like the M3, in that it pushes you on to drive harder. Frankly I have been there and did that with the M3 and decided to have a change, but if you are after such an experience and can't afford an M3 (remember there is other members here that don't live in the States where the Audi is a bit too dear compared to the 335i) then the S4 is the next best port of call. But seriously south, a convertible S5 is something you prefer to the coupe. Man either you are getting old or you're a hairdresser. |

Without money taken into consideration, I'd be in one of these though: Now feel free to call me an old hairdresser. Best regards, south

Joking over, the R8 convertible does look exceptional for one of these types of cars, but I would still pick the coupe over it every time. In my opinion unless the car was designed from the off to be an open top then I say leave the hell alone. |

I think the LCI is more of a looker than the B* A4, even prefer the 335i LCI to the S4 in looks. Not sure how the S4 drives, but Igather it loses some of the go-kart feel that the bimmer has

BMW's leather doesn't look smooth and feels rough in comparison, but it doesn't resemble a street hooker's vageen once the miles start accumulating.
