Rims appear to be from the Z8 era.

Sadly the NK front end seems to bring back the infamous in the middle of nowhere hood shut line that was present on the F10 5 Series, ruining what could have been a great front end design on that F10 5 Series.

The only problem of the G60 is BMW continuing to insist on horizontal slats inside the kidneys. Horizontal slats belong to Audi.

Mercedes and bmw have been doing this for years. Are you new here?

There is a huge difference in appearance between the current generation of the 7 Series and the 3 Series and they are not similar. With the Mercedes C and S, I don't see the difference.

Those are the best wheels. Not sure why in the uK you can only get them on edrive40 Sport Edition which can only have limited options.

I really hope they keep the iDrive controller but I suspect I am the minority

I guess the bext Alpina B5 will be based on the LCI it will be interesting to see what BMW with it

If you’re referring to the line where the hood meets the front bumper I agree with you 100%. I passed on F10 because of it.

I am planning to go Mercedes the next go around. Either E53 or E63 depending on price.

I love my 540 and the current design. Original plan was to upgrade to the M5 in the next few years but not if it looks like this.

I reeeeeallly hope it doesn't look like this. That's just horrible. I think a grille like the M440i would be better than that.

I don't understand why BMW flip flops with vertically elongated kidney grille (such as current G70) and horizontally elongated like the ones shown here in the possible LCI. The grille is one of BMWs distinguishing (and iconic) characteristics. The kidneys should be configured consistently and more normally proportioned.

Prefer the current G60/G90, but I'll wait until I see this LCI version in person. For me this is the Bangle-era all over again. The first time I saw a picture of the E60 I hated it, then I bought one. I hated the E65 in photos, then I bought one. E82 looked weird in photos, then I bought one. The E90 I liked right away, so I bought one. I came around on all of the Bangle cars, today there isn't a single one I don't like. It will be interesting to see how the current crop of BMWs are judged 10 years from now.

The NK fascia seems to fit the G60 better. Cautiously optimistic because the current face just doesn't seem to fit.

I understand the need to push design forward, but come on… this LCI is a drastic change to an otherwise handsome design. I’m exhausted with BMW constantly shifting its design language. I also don’t like that the halo car for their new direction is an electric vehicle. Porsche gets it—they’re doubling down on internal combustion. BMW’s electric cars just aren’t it.

I hope the current Camry design is discontinued. I find it repugnant from many design standpoints, including its lack of cohesive lines, a mismatched mix of elements, and the absence of a clear design language.

I also hope that BMW brings back its distinct design elements—elegant stance, angel eyes, the Hofmeister kink, and the subtle yet refined styling that once defined the 5 Series as a gentleman in disguise. Today, the 5 Series feels like a disjointed mix of elements, failing to stand out from the crowd.

Furthermore, I hope BMW maintains the quality it prides itself on, ensuring that door panels align properly, reflect light smoothly, and maintain a single, uninterrupted line—rather than looking poorly assembled, like the actual generation which is in fact worse in quality than any previous one.

Lastly, I hope they offer a naturally aspirated engine; otherwise, they can keep it.

I think you have to really love the e60 to love the g60. I personally don’t like either, but they definitely have a similar aesthetic going on.

Can’t say much about a car with a bunch of camo, but those neue klasse grilles are really going to be something…

It's like they had discovered the perfect grill design and since then have been trying to "evolve" from it for years... but still haven't come up with anything remotely good

Now what would make this even better, is if the Neue Klasse sedans would adopt the same additional smaller grill that the Neue Klasse iX3 SAV will get.

The bumpers are hideous on the 5er. But then again BMW’s obsession with shiny black paint to show MSport is almost worse at this point.

People may disagree but we need a reset from the black accents and build a little prestige into a M Sport.

Back when the E46 had the MSport- it was a handsome upgrade. Over the decades MSport turned into MLite. Justified for sales- but MSport had a real place amoung the enthusiast who didn’t want the M look.
