With the right wheels and more aggressive color could be great.

This video and concept is just so “beige”

I like it as an 8 series replacement. Looks classy and clean, which is what an 8 series should be. You have so many people so quick to bash and criticize, but we’ve already seen that many will warm up to BMW design as time goes by. You can’t please everyone, but I don’t believe you can fault BMW if they decide to stick with their more traditional design language when it has gotten so far and still has such a strong fan base. People often fail to understand or remember which category a vehicle falls into and who it’s catered towards.

Well we know the gear shift lever and rotary dial are not going to make it.

Outside = new and modern
Gear shift area = off the shelf part(s) from a 5-year old car.

lol manual. idk pdk is the cats meow. Even GT3 how much I love, I hate the manual. I lose time per lap. sucks, but hey beggars can't be choosers.

This just prove that BMW can design and create cars that are beautiful, elegant inside and out. I hope more of this design influence comes back to their future vehicles.

Not bad, but does it get me excited!? Not yet. We have seen too many gorgeous prototypes in the past only to discover a few years later that the final production version looks crippled and compromised.

A good sign is that they seem to contain the massive grill a bit and return to the shark nose of the E24.

hope not, since Chris single handedly almost killed BMW entirely with his abysmal designs.

Wow did BMW get a new design team? It's about time! This is classy, elegant, yet sporty, undertones of aggressiveness. I love the shark nose. The yacht rear deck tells you who this car is aimed after. Not me (yet), though I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I buy a boat.

Way better than the hodge podge, design by committee approach where everyone's idea is accepted and therefore the car looks like a splattering of different ideas.

That said, this needs a little more to reach that special, instant-classicness of the Z8. Maybe a little Alpina touch.

Really digging the shark nose front end.

Interesting but out of my price range. Thinking I'd just like a nice Z4 35 manual.

It looks like the old 6 series, which is a very dated design these days. There is nothing exciting or interesting about it. I thought BMW's new "innovative" designs were bad, but this retrovative design is just as horrible. I wouldn't buy one if it looked like this.

Interesting that it has idrive7. Probably an earlier concept that BMW decided to hold back for a while.
YES! I noticed that too!! I love it!!! And the canopy over the drivers screen is back!!!

Probably because the sun from overhead will make a glare on the 8/9 screens.
