Is this maybe because I am ordering the 540iX and not the 530? Or is the configurator not 100% accurate in the visuals?
The configurator visuals are notoriously unreliable, but the description of the luxury seating package does note that this package adds the memory seat functions.

Major Bummer!
So our first long trip in the M60 and we're going through some twisties...and we discover that ONLY the driver seat has inflating side bolsters. NONE for the passenger. So, while I'm feeling secure throwing the car through curves, she's sliding around feeling much less secure. So that additional cost is just for ONE seat!!!

That is not the case in my car. I would take it in for service and see what is wrong.

I agree, but only after an iDrive reboot of course. ;-)

Do you not see the adjustable bolster options for the passenger on the iDrive screen, or do you see the adjustments and they just don't work?

So I caved and changed my order to include the Luxury seat package. Does anyone have a picture of how to control the rear heated seats form the back seat? Are there any buttons back there to control them, or only form IDrive?

So to update, after a "discussion" with my better half, (Who swears she has no interest in ever driving "MY" car, because it's not an SUV). But she wanted the luxury seating package and "did not care for" the M Sport, Alcantara seats at the Broker's display because she said they were too hard.

Since my build has not started yet, my Broker was able to change the order to KSSW, Black Veganza, and ZLS, Luxury seat package.

So far I am currently set for week 36 to start the Build, and Week 42 for Delivery to Dealer. At some point as soon as we are given a VIN Number the Broker can file the Tax-Free status for Spanish Customs, and I can apply for financing at my bank. Once it arrives at the dealer I then have to file for the Registration on Base. That's at least 2-4 weeks with the car sitting at the dealer just waiting. The broker will then order the Mats, and M Sport Emblems applied to the fenders. I just want to get it before the Holiday season begins, because EVERYONE in Spain pretty much goes into a Stand-Down mode and official paperwork takes FOREVER (Spaniards take their holidays and partying very seriously. To the extent that holidays include a Hangover day following. Lol). A lot of the administrative functions are still done manually here. If the clerk who is assigned to process my paperwork goes on vacation, it sits on his/her desk until he/she returns. It does not go to someone else to take over the backlog. So Fingers Crossed.

I'm on vacation away from the car right now so can't take a picture but I can tell you that there are two buttons on the back of the center console for the heated seats in the back. I don't think they are controllable via iDrive. Basically they are physical buttons that toggle the heating between low, med, high and off for each of the two rear seats.

Ok. So basically it's the same as in my RR Sport. I can live with that. As long as someone in back has control and isn't bothering me to turn up or down their seat heater.

I found out that US Models don't come with Anti Theft lug nuts, but EU models do. I'm going to order them too.

Mine did not come with them, but I asked for them and they gave them to me at no charge.

Is the Luxury seating package required in order to get exterior mirror memory?

The description does say "A memory function saves the settings for the front seats and exterior mirrors." I would suspect no memory functions at all otherwise. The memory system saves all the settings for seats, steering wheel, mirrors.

That doesn’t right, I’ve never seen a car that didn’t equip both front seats the same.

Since “comfort adjustment” description mentioned something about seat depth, could it be something like an air bladder under the seat cushion that you can adjust how firm or how much you sink into it?

The other possibility is that it doesn’t work or the software isn’t working for this feature.

Brought home a loaded 2024 i5 M60 yesterday and no adjustable side bolster settings for the passenger seat and no memory settings for the passenger seat that I can find. This is unfortunate to say the least.

Is the seat adjustment only through the touchscreen or is there still buttons on the sides of the seat?

Both. Some functions via physical controls. Some functions with iDrive controls.

Is the bolster adjustment done through the touchscreen, are there buttons? Wondering how to quickly recognize this in cars

For the luxury package seats, the bolsters are adjusted through iDrive - no manual buttons on the seats for those. There is an old thread about the seat controls - just search this forum for it. If I find time later, I'll try to post a link to it here.
