This plank/floor movement measuring device is a joke but I'm sure RB are on to it however powerful Merc are trying to wangle it their way.
Still that Ferrari veto can be used against raising the rear ride height by 10mm as it's hardly a safety issue any more.

Mercedes getting faster doesn't really mean much, at least not this year. The car is wildly inconsistent from a performance standpoint - on one track the W13 looks improved and looks like it's catching up with Ferrari and Red Bull but on another in completely falls flat.

Mercedes is said to have one more significant upgrade (but not as big as their first) and we have yet to see Red Bull and Ferrari bring any huge upgrades which is stated to be coming after the summer break.

I'm still pretty confident Merc will be off race pace from Red Bull and Ferrari on the big boy tracks. So much top end/low drag required at Spa (From Source through Kemmel, Pouhon, Frere/Blanchimont) - should be well suited for RB and we can potentially see some nice finishes from Haas and Williams.

I agree. Mercedes will be "in it" just strictly off reliability and consistency but Spa is suited for Red Bull and Ferrari. Unless some development miracle happens, Mercedes will finish on the podium if something happens to RB or Ferrari.

It isn't the floor , it is the Wolf who wants to slow down Red Bull and Ferrari .
The Wolf should look first at his flexible front wing.The thing bends at least 5 cm.

I'm pretty sure the FIA and Ben are playing games to benifit Mercedes .
Plan A With Shaila-Ann Rao - Tipped off Mercedes - Worked really well .
Plan B Medical reasons because HAM's back was broken .
Plan C Try to slow down the faster teams .

No one ever tested if DAS was safe , But Mercedes got a whole season advantage with the thing ...

It's easy as ABC as you say my friend to see what TW is playing at, Ferrari RB and the others sorted their cars to not bounce. Merc dived in headlong with the 13 lacking the technical knowledge of seing the bigger picture and being in the brown stuff he's simply turned to his mates in higher places to get him out of his self inflicted mire, frankly I can't believe Ben is allowing himself to be played along with this puppet show and ignoring their ridiculously bendy front wing is further proof that Ben is the wrong man for the job.

Sounds like the "self-demoted to the best of the rest" summary of the 2022 F1 season for Mercedes-AMG.

Any pointers from members who have been before? We are there all 3 days. I definitely want to check out multiple spots on fri/sat, but getting around this long track must be difficult?

Yes .It isn't easy because of the length of 7,004 KM ( 4.349 miles )
And the Francorchamps circuit is located in a forest area .
The weather forecast is good for the qualifying and race . Sunny and 25-27°C.
But that can change very quickly in the Belgian Ardennes ..
