Funny you say that - was actually considering adding the GT350 to the list. Something about that flat plane crank V8 calls my name.

And that would be an even sweeter option with the sounds that engine makes

Curious. What makes you so strong on that one? There are several around me with low miles for low 50s. My problem is the only thing I like about that car is the engine. It does make driving pretty special though, which is what I am looking for.

It's a real interesting comparison to the Maserati isn't it, what's the price point on the Italian?
GT350's were in the high 50's here for a bit then recently blew out to the 70's. I have always been a huge fan, they look proper mean and the engine is just incredible, i actually like the idea of fuck all torque until it revs a bit, all these bottom end engines mean you are doing WELL past illegal speeds before you get some revs going. I do hear issues with tramlining if your roads are not great. I dunno, vs the Maserati, interesting dilemma, i just gravitate tot he meaner look i guess. GT350 looks like it clubs seals. Honestly not sure. I was just out in a buddies car and he tossed me the keys. Simply eased into first and gave second a good pull and when I did, ZHHHOOPP, a whole lane left I went without warning, not from the nose and not from loss of traction. Last time I gave it the beans.

The Range Rover SVR checks a lot of those boxes. Awesome engine, looks great, very comfortable, loved it when I drove one.
392 Wrangler with Xtreme Recon package is also a great option if you can stretch the budget. Amazing sound, one touch roof option, looks badass with the 35's from the recon package, and will have incredible resale value in the future too. Brand new with warranty, no service costs, easy. Couple dealers are offering $6k off MSRP on orders. Most dealers want MSRP or $5-20k over, don't fall for that obv. RS7? |

I was pretty set on an M2 eventually, but now this car has me addicted. I may have to go Quadrifoglio next unless the G87 M2 blows my socks off.

Okay - I believe I've got it narrowed down to 3 at the moment:
1. 2015-2017 Maserati Granturismo 4.7L 2. 2006-2009 Aston Martin DB9 V12 3. 2016-2018 For Mustang GT350 Can't find a GT350 nearby yet, but the dealer I got one of my Alfa's from has both an Aston and a Granturismo on the ground at two of their locations and they are near each other, so plan to make a trip up there this Sunday to check them out.

I test drove multiple Granturismo's with the 4.7 last year, lots to like. Sounds fantastic from the factory, loved the auto trans, looks to kill but I couldn't find a comfortable seating position. I'm on the taller side but it wasn't due to lack of legroom and the infotainment does suck. Really wanted to love it but there wasn't enough to pull me in.
My vote goes for the Evora but you won't find a S2 for <$60k. Other than a 997 GT3 it's my favorite sports car new/used <$125k. The S1 is amazing but the high door sill makes getting in/out a PITA and a deal breaker, at least for me. Otherwise, it's perfect in every way. I have yet to drive a car with steering feel as good as an Evora. I'll throw a few suggestions out there... -B8 RS5 with the N/A V8 - obviously not as special as a GT-S, DB9 or Evora but a fantastic GT cruiser that makes great noises (downshifts are ), quality interior, comfortable, and well below your budget -CTS V coupe? Never driven one but the coupes are rare, basically a luxurious 2+2 Corvette -High mileage GTR? Would be too beat up at this price point? |

Me personally I don't like that kind of attention so for me it would be mustang all the way, second aston and last maserati, but I may be biased. |

I agree, the body, ride height, and wheels/tires of GT350s and GT500s does set them apart. Like M3 vs 330i.
