Mercedes GLA taillights? Really BMW? No originality at all?
So the wide tall ass X4 gets a thin tail light that looks weird anyway and the small ass car like that gets a wide thick one? Who the heck designs this shit and what kind of philosophy are they following anyway? Random stupid design with no defined language I presume as it seems that they are all over the place. And the front looks ugly too, still keeping the hood line. Imagine that we can have a hood with just two little lines between the headlamp and the grill. Elegant and classy. But the choose that ridiculous, ugly scar on the face. Any individual in that design team who does that or approves such abomination is a mediocre, stupid, senseless and lack of common sense designer. Or in short, an idiot! |

I like the grill. I like that the headlights don't touch the grill. I like the lower front air inlets. I like the width of the rear. I like the rear vertical (but fake) vents like the M2 and every sporty hatch out there. Do I like the car. - I've got no fucking idea as I haven't even seen the whole thing OR the actual front and rear. Do I think it will be lower priced BMW model ina market it needs to be in to compete. YES Do I think it's the great BMW ever or going or replace the M2/3/4/5/6 NO. Am I forcing you to buy it. NO. Am I offering polite (and positive) opinion that I would say in person, face to face with an owner or designer. YES. Are you being THAT GUY. YUP. Sounds like you should man up Bro and go buy something really exclusive like McLaren or Ferrari who won't tolerate this junk? Enjoy their forums, probably full of positive people, or people not slating cars they don't even know which model it is or have any intention of buying. Jeez the state of Bimmerpost these days.

Here's the second generation VW Jetta as it evolved. We only got these cars forl one generation in the states, but China? They just kept getting updated versions of the MK2 sold alongside the newer generations. It was sold through 2010. |

It's also strange that it is missing the xDrive badge, considering all M Performance models are all AWD (except M340i for US market).

Yes, last time I checked, I still live in a Free Market, thus, no one is forcing me to buy it but I need a replacement car soon and I was hoping BMW next gen M2, the last small BMW coupe, with a manual option, didn't resemble a eBay kit car. Based on this monstrosity, I'm guessing I'll be disappointed. My bad, I guess I'll have to take your advice and get me McLaren or Ferrari because you know, they're are in same comparable class, as an entry-level M car.. Why didn't I think of that.. |

Yeah this isn't gonna be the new 2er (F22 replacement). Scott has already said that that car is going to have the tall upcoming 4er style grilles, but slightly less extreme. As someone said earlier, probably an update to that 1er sedan thing.
Also, good catch by someone noticing the M badge in the lower grille. What an odd placement... |

Anyone notice the rear taillight design is pulling from the Vision M Next taillights? With that I’m guessing this isn’t a render and very real. Though I still can’t tell it’s proportions (RWD/FWD) from the possible lens distortion... ...it def does not line up with Scott26’s info on the next 2coupe design |

Yes, I will because I have nothing better to do than argue with random strangers on the internet, over abstract nonsense. I'm sure if BMW carves an automobile out of pure dog shit, you'll be there to call it "sharp" and artistic. It's just what we do |

I find it weird that it has number plates on it - are they going to drive it from the development shop to the test track without camo on it? I'd expect the camo to go on first, and the plate second.
It doesn't look very photoshopped though. |
