Notes: I never realized your spine could compress that much. Also, you are unable to write your signature after they peel you out of the car from gripping the wheel so hard.

OFFTOPIC

I don’t know where it is better to write a small question - I will write here ))
English speaking - tell me, there was a question when translating one manual to a mini loader:

It is prohibited to work on the battery.
Keep sparks, flames and flammable substances away from the battery. When jump starting:
• Wear safety glasses
• Make sure the machine is electrically isolated. Make sure the battery is not frozen.

it's about working with the battery...

What is this jump? What is meant?

Sorry, that stuck it in this thread.))

You're gripping the wheel too hard, Grasshopper. Firm, yes. Deathgrip, no. For obvious reasons.

The act of using an external power source, usually another vehicle connected by "jumper" cables to provide sufficient power to the target vehicle to engage the starter and crank the engine.

I was running Seca without resonators and cats for all the events I went on the F80 with sport+ mode. Never had problems flagging me out, so it is hard for me to understand why MPE would be an issue.

The MPE is easily over 100db flaps open. Provided the right conditions–distance of the meter, gear, throttle application–the 92db limit is easily broken. Were you on a 92db day? Perhaps the 103db?

It was 92 or 93 db day with Speed District. Full throttle, flap open, track business as usual.

Those 100+ db days are expensive and I don't cars that be benefited from it. Hope someday I will need going to those 100+ db days on Seca

OFF TOPIC AGAIN

Sorry, that I am writing about this topic again, but the fact is that I do not have the opportunity to write in "Off topic discussion boards" now.

Can someone say - now some new political qualification has been introduced to visit this section?
Or is it just me blocked - for political reasons? )))
Could there be a similar problem for everyone today?

Just added Chuckwalla over the weekend bitches. I really like the track. Pretty clean and smooth and safe (although one poor s2000 did run into the wall on the straight see pic). On most of the straights i can just max out 3rd gear and then hit the brakes so fairly comfortable runs. Bit of a drive though.

It's generally understood that posting crash pics of someone else from the track is not good etiquette. You never know if someone wants this out there for everyone to see, like adjusters or dealers etc. Nonetheless, this is a sobering photo. Any idea what happened? It's not easy to hit the wall on a straight like this.

It's an S2000 Honda so i didnt reckon this would be an issue on a BMW forum. It was on the straight. Apparently the car in front of him hit the brakes too hard and he was too close so he swerved and lost control.

Mods you can delete the pic, as i cannot.

My own car:
1991 BMW 318is
2000 BMW 323Ci
2003 BMW Z4 3.0i
2004 Nissan 350z
2006 BMW Z4 M Coupe

NOT my own car (too many to list, just the notable ones):
Toyota Siena
Dodge Durango
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Lamborghini Diablo
Lotus Exige 240S
BMW M3 of EVERY GENERATION (except the upcoming Gxx)
Mercedes C65 AMG Black
...And a slew of other plebeian BMWs, Audis, Porsches performance vehicles of every kind. Probably easier to list what I *haven't* driven on track.

I've been driving on tracks for over 10 years and have had the pleasure of learning through BMWCCA and got my comp license through Bertil Roos.

Below are the tracks I've driven/raced at. Most of the races I've done were endurance races, so not flat out - more conserving tires/brakes for the long haul (4 hours (BMWCCA Endurance Series, 9 hours (AER) and 12 hours (SCCA Devil in The Dark).

1. NJMP - Thunderbolt: I can't count how many laps I've done over the years. I'd say 500 plus.
2. NJMP - Lightning: No way I can count. Probably close to 1000 and I'm not exaggerating. In one race, I did 220 laps over the course of 9 hours.
3. Watkins Glen - BMWCCA Drivers School weekend
4. Lime Rock - BMWCCA Drivers School weekend
5. VIR - Bertil Roos Comp License (South Course). Five days in the F2000 cars. Two races to get my comp license - pole position for both races and won both races.
6. Mid-Ohio - BMWCCA Endurance Series (4 hours). Full course with chicane ran a 1:40.7.
7. Pocono - BMWCCA Drivers School weekend
8. Summit Point - BMWCCA Drivers School weekend
9. Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Indycar Driving School on the oval. Averaged 170mph around the full oval, did 24 laps and pulled about 4g's in the turns.
10. Nurburgring - Did 8 laps in a rented Renault Sport Clio Cup from RSR. Didn't crash! Also, had Sabine Schmitz power slide around me and give me the peace sign as she was passing me in the 'Ring Taxi (M5) at Aremburg.
