That movie was so far beyond its time. To date, it's still so far beyond this time! One of my all-time favorites! I love introducing people to this movie, for no other reason than to see their reactions. If they are horrified, we can't be friends. If they laugh and enjoy it, we are now family.

I've never sat thru a whole movie yet, just enough to view significant scenes and put it on a list of things to do, that I never got around to. The wife is going to bingo tonight, so I wouldn't be interrupted . . . and no work tomorrow so I can assume some liquid accompaniment.

Now, what shall I have for dinner? I bet there will be some left-over tacos de papa, since I hid them in the outside fridge so well I forgot them for lunch today

This one may make it tough for you to sit through. Some pretty graphic scenes in this film. Nudity, violence, rape, etc. Just a heads up, you have been warned. Not for the faint of heart. As much as I love this movie, it's definitely one that I have to be in the right mindset for.
