the only reason why i go back is because he's the only one that understands how my hair grows. but lately ive thought about leavin his stupid store

i am a man of extremes:

1-i'll either cut it myself really bad and everyone calls my haircut "the bowl cut" because it looks like i used a bowl;

2-or i'll pay $40 plus $10 tip just to chat with this married woman who is the hottest hairdresser in town.

15+5 tip so 20 bucks every 3 weeks, the guy has been cutting hair since he was 13 on the streets of NY and now owns his own shop i usually tip him 5 bucks just because i like listening to his stories lol and plus hes a kick ass barber..

How the hell do you guys cut your own hair? I just don't understand that. I would do it myself however, how the hell am I supposed to cut my sideburns properly or line up the hair on the back of my head? I mean I could just buzz my head (I use a 3 all over) but I would never be able to do those other things I talked about. Please tell me how you guys do it!

0-2 all over, depending on how crazy I feel. The only hard part is the sideburns, which I have a smaller clipper for. And no, I'm not going bald, it's just so much easier not having to maintain hair, especially in the summer.
