The one laying down right by the fire looks a little overweight! You're spoiling them!

Yes, Kaya is indeed overweight....she takes little pills for her thyroid now, we hope that and summer will fix her.

How do your dobies do during the winters? You keep them indoors and only let them go outside in the snow for short moments?

Since we have a lot of land, they are free to roam it, and if it is super cold out, they'll pretty much only venture out to do their business. But when it's closer to 32 they'll go for walks with the foxhound...he spends the whole day outside.

I wouldn't want to have to walk a Dobie in the city during winter....all that salt on the sidewalks and having to put their coat on every walk.....
