Yeah I agree, but thanks to the anonymity of the internet that's just what people are going to do. Pointing fingers and virtue signaling is at an all time high.

I thank social media for the destruction of society.

That's why you come out to Vancouver where nothing bad ever happens. Just endless natural beauty and things to do. Quite possibly the cleanest and prettiest city in North America.

I don't buy that. Canada's big cities are just as divers as those in the US. I believe Toronto is the most diverse city in the world.

Maybe if our own government would enforce the gun laws already on the books instead of talking about more restrictive legislation everytime there is a mass shooting incident, more American gun owners would feel like following laws to the letter. It’s hard to take laws seriously when your government shows less than full commitment in enforcing those laws.

Arabs, blacks, and hispanics make up a minuscule percentage of the Canadian population. Plenty of data supporting that.

Not sure I understand what you are getting at? There is far more to diversity then just race...there is language, religion, sex, etc.

Yeah, right, an opinion piece by the Latin Times. Very reliable source for this.

They're just the messengers...

Not from my experience.
Outside of a few select cities in the US, I wouldn't say it is more diverse especially compared to Toronto.

Food in South Florida sucks, that is what I miss most about Toronto.

We make a lot of guns. How many are made in Canada and Mexico. Define "originate".

Name a major city in the US that is not ethnically diverse?

Wasn't what he was saying. He was not saying major cities in the US are not ethnically diverse - he was saying that in his experience most cities in the US (but not all) are not MORE diverse than Toronto.

Both places are diverse - simply saying that Toronto is as diverse as most US cities.

Edit: Maybe I'm wrong based on response below. Don't know now....I had thought it was pretty clear.

I consider diversity more than just white/black and some mexicans.

Miami, aside from the majority of White, African Americans, and Latins/Mexicans there is not much ethnically diverse cultures here, nothing compared to say NYC or Chicago.

Plus you go aside of most US cities and it's even less so. I can drive an hour in each direction outside of Toronto and still find a more diverse cultures and better food.

I believe it was also in Toronto that someone stole a van and drove it on the sidewalk mowing down many pedestrians. There isn't really anything you can do to stop a determined assailant.

You sure are asking a lot for diversity. Hell, not many cities in the world are as diverse as ALL major US cities. As for the countryside, same in nearly all countries. Your point is wandering all over the place.

No you are right, I was just adding to it.

Going back to Germanauto saying the unrest in the US is due to it being "very diverse", I was saying compared to Canada there is less unrest and it's more diverse, Montreal/Vancouver/Toronto/Calgary being prime examples.

I know that, same for Canada.
