I noticed that as I get older, my burger tastes change...or the places change, whatever.
Right now, I'd say Carl's Jr, Islands, or In-n-Out Nature Boy mentioned Farmer Boys. They're pretty good, but their HUGE onion rings and zucchinis are a PITA to eat! PS - just tried the new Bourbon Burger and Prime Rib burger from Carl's last night. Both were ![]() |

Five Guys rocks. Had one here about a year now. Cajun fries FTW!
Backyard Burger is great but I have to drive an hour to get one. Hooligans is the best local place. Sonic chili cheese burger with a Route 44 Coke and onion rings. Can't do them often, but they are awsome. Just told Sarge we are eating at Five Guys for lunch and he had no complaints. If you want to know where the good food is off the beaten path, ask a cop. A fat cop. |

*hijack
In West Palm a few years back. Called the SO there and told them to put me through to the biggest supervisor they had. I finally got a lady on the phone and told her who I was and where I worked. I asked for a good place to eat. After she got done laughing, she sent me to some place way the hell out and we had a great meal. Folks say I'm never shy on being a prick. Guess they have a point. /*hijack |

wow, Five Guys started in the DC/VA area, and didnt know they expanded that far away. i love those burgers so much I inquired about a local franchise a few years ago and they are all booked up for most of the eastern seaboard. although the $1M liquid cash requirement was really what stopped me

For a REALLY good fast food burger, we have two places here, Cookout and Chargrill, both are amazing. After that for good fast food, Backyard Burger or Steak and Shake, and for a sit down burger, Red Robin's Whiskey River BBQ Burger (drool, and extra fries make it two meals!).

my favorites: in'n'out, the counter, taylor's refresher, red robin, islands
for cheap and easily accessible in the US: wendy's (though in'n'out is cheap and easily accessible in cali)
