Yeah man, I've seen a ton of those. I must say I've never been able to see light through a jacket though. That's crazy. My favorite was always hearing about how the network isn't delivering speeds that it should and then checking out the cabinet/closet or work stations and finding cables that had been "squeezed" together and tie-wrapped versus using service loops. Somehow people don't understand a cable works like a pipe/hose. Crimp that thing and you're going to have a bad time.
