A colleague or mine runs an NGO down in Guatemala City, Guatamala. One of the times I came down to visit him a few years ago, we drove way off of the beaten path, deep into the lush Guatemalan jungle (about 2 hours from major civilization). I shot this image from our moving car.

Also captured this image from deep in the mountains of Colorado. My family and I take an annual trip to Sylvan Lake which is located off the beaten path between Vail and Aspen. This is one of the creeks that feeds the crystal clear lake...

And a shot of the actual lake (the cabins can be seen on the faaaar side of the lake)

I shoot a Nikon D600, but I recently upgraded to a D750.

Always using expensive glass, mostly my trusty Nikkor 28-70 f2.8

These are entirely taken in DC, saying hi5 to a squirrel, Hardrock cafe, Navy Yard entrance and the constitution declaration at the inside of the elevator doors into the museum.
