Other news: This Callaway C7.GT3 is looking pretty cool: http://sportscar365.com/gt/callaway-...rvette-c7-gt3/ If you're interested in WEC you should read about the new EoT rules that came out today which should increase competitiveness with the LMP-L entries at COTA. This is the release verbiage; "A recently issued Equivalence of Technology decision by the FIA Endurance Committee is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the LMP-L entries at the 6 Hours of Circuit of The Americas, the fourth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship due to take place on 20th September. The light weight class is now eligible to run at a minimum weight of 800kg and with a 15% increase in petrol energy per lap and 4% increase in maximum fuel flow rate compared to the original Equivalence of Technology tables issued at the start of the season. The Rebellion Racing and – from CoTA onwards – Lotus teams will also have a larger fuel capacity of 73.5 litres available to them, with the aim of closing the gap to the manufacturer-entered LMP1 Hybrids. The changes in LMP1-L should make the cars more competitive, as Rebellion’s R-One Toyotas ran in last month’s 24 Hours of Le Mans at 810kg minimum weight and with a 72 litre fuel tank capacity (significantly larger than their hybrid rivals).
