Upcoming PAM537 is looking good... but its only a 42MM and in my opinion any Panerai under 44MM looks a bit weird even though I have a tiny wrist.

I like the simplicity of it as well. I think the only reason I don't wear it as often as my Hamilton is because the PAM is my dressier watch, and I almost never get dressed up. The Hamilton I wear daily when I'm not at work. It's a bit more casual to me.

I have sadly fallen into the trap of loving a nice time piece on my wrist and forums like this really don't help. I know what you guys are saying about the 005..........its near impossible to get your hands on a new one in the uk, I was on a waiting list for 6 months till the factory informed the dealer that I use that there was no planned release dates this year.
So I got bored and bought the beautiful 111, its a different style from my other watch a brietling superocean2. I have only had the panerai for about two months but I don't think it will be the last pan . I have heard that the panerai community has a bit of love for the custom strap but I have yet to fall into that......................well yet. But what do I wear when I pick up my alpine edition M3 in just over a weeks time , do I go classy with the pan or go casual with the diver style brietling |

Dear, God, but isn't it nice to have a dilemma that only well off folks could possibly have?

Check out Ted Su for custom straps, I have a croc belly strap that I alternate with the OEM PAM rubber strap. I am about to purchase another strap soon from Ted. You wil start purchasing a ton of them, I already have 3 excluding the bracelet and have only owned the watch for a few months. I have a PAM328 btw |

Recently sold my Pam 000 and just picked up a 47mm 305 submersible (titanium). It doesn't wear as large as other 47 mm watches i have previously owned, mainly b/c it's so light i guess.
Sent my 312 out for service about a month ago as well; should come back looking brand new!

Believe me, the only "problems" I ever have are in the same vein. Just this Spring, my kids were fully dismayed and put out because the vacation house they wanted us to rent - outside the U.S., no less -- was already booked for the time we wanted it. In my mind, that's exactly the same sort of issue as "what fancy watch goes best with such and such an occasion/outfit?" All the best.

i was a bit unsure in the beginning. to me, they were nice simple looking watches. too basic to justify the cost.
I got a chance to buy a used 111 so i jumped on it, also because I wanted a watch with a leather band (all of mine are metal). I was still unsure at first....but its slowly starting to grow on me. Although I think I am going to trade it in for a Rolex GMT BLNR

I really did like the 111, but I just preferred the BLNR look, feel and versatility. Posted a couple other of my toys as well.

I too have a Daytona (White gold). I think im going to trade in my Sub LV for the BLNR....might as well......they're similar looking watches (aside from the size difference), it would be silly to have 2 that look almost identical. but I am particularly fond of the green bezel. decisions decisions.

My local jeweler has a Panerai PAM 510. This is similar to the 111 but with in-house movement and the "8 days" on the dial. The clear case back shows the in-house movement, which is not the prettiest movement to look at, but that's not too big of an issue with me.
I'm seriously considering getting it. I'd love to hear from anyone who's owned or has any experience with this model. The in-house movement I think might make it hold it's value down the road possibly (although I don't buy for resale, I do consider it). Any help would be appreciated. https://www.google.com/search?q=pam+...%3B1000%3B1034 |
