That is technically correct. We don't know what 190 actually means. it could be that it's sitting in a parking lot waiting to get loaded on a train right outside the factory.

I'm also wondering if the delays could be caused by the reports of flooding other areas of Germany. I read that BMW has sent aid to these towns. Possibly could it be they have sent the factory workers to help?

Thanks for that additional information. So that then puts me at :190 Vehicle has left the factory (at the foreign plant: transshipment warehouse) / exit from the central brokerage center (In transit to port of exit) [Dispatched from AG]. Basically sitting in a transshipment warehouse OR actually on a train on its way to port of exit.

I didn't read the entire thread but assuming you stayed with the Oxide Grey, I have a '24 540iX M Sport in Oxide Grey and love the color. I have had many strangers come up to me to tell me how much they like the appearance of the car which surprised me due to all the negativity that somw have noted re the G60.

It's a bit of a different color and can look gray or goldish depending on the light. It is subtle and IMO classy. I very like the appearance of the G60, particularly when looking at it from the side.

I ordered a 540 in Oxide Gray also. Glad to hear the color looks good in person. When I was at multiple dealers in Tampa Bay area, not one dealership had 2024/2025/ paint chips to look at in person. What the hell is with that? BMW cannot afford to distribute paint chips that cost, maybe $1, when you are buying a $80K car? Just pathetic.

I did stay with the Oxide Grey. I can't wait for it to get here. The color combination to me looks so Elegant yet Sporty. I think it works best with MSport/MSport Pro. If I had gotten the silver grille a darker color would look better. Also, It's a color not all other BMW's have. Only the 5er and up I believe.

I paid off the people on the train loading dock in Germany. It's quietly stashed in a warehouse, and keeps getting shuffled to the end of the line. I'd like to have mine returned to the production line, I can see about a hostage swap

I would not doubt you did that Todd. You probably told them they can move mine back into line when yours reaches the port.

New update today: My car is now code 193: Arrived at the port of exit. Awaiting Shipment. From what I understand it SHOULD arrive at the Dealer in about 10 days. Of course I will be on Vacation in the US when it arrives. I have Todd's luck. Will see if that holds true. I'll keep you posted.

I just hope the bloody thing actually has working IBS systems and doesn’t get caught up in the stop sale. Someone else at week 36 has theirs parked at the port 😮‍💨

Serious question and I hope it isn't - but have you asked specifically if it is affected by the Steering Spindle recall - We were both 36 and mine has been at the dealer for over 4 weeks now....it is painful.

I have not. Just got back from the US West Coast last night after 37 hours no sleep. So I didn't think to ask. He said we are starting the long reg process for Spain. I am pretty sure since it had to pass Homologation and other stuff before BMW Iberica would pass the paperwork to Movitransa Jerez, if it was affected he would have told me. However I will ask. He did send me a video but it's MP4 and I can't upload it here. Thanks.

Oh, I didn't go see it. This was sent to me by the dealer on receipt. It still has the tow hook covers missing. I'm still jet lagged 9 hours.
