and while I would have love to beat TCU, we didn't so I tip my cap to the better team. One thing about football or any other sport for that matter is your ability to win in big (or little) games. LOL. So are you saying MSU was better than Wisconsin? Cause I would argue that was not the case. I am obviously NOT a Badger fan, but I know they were better than Sparty. The Fighting Dantonis' just played better than Wisckey on that day. Just like TCU was not better. They just beat a better team that day. What's that saying they have in the NFL?!? "Any given _________..." I think that also translates to the college grid-iron now with all the parody and scholarship limitations unlike before.

Lastly, the final polls stated that tOSU was better than Wisconsin. I bet they are fanbois too though...

I think you meant "parity"....LOL That being said I am a Buckeye fan and I agree with both you and UDUB....you both have points...I just think they are both very good teams and closely matched. Saying one is better than the other is just like flipping a coin(as pertains to this past season). The "Any given Sunday" cliche applies here....

He won't respond to that. Cause you know he thinks Wisconsin is better than both MSU and TCU, but it would go against his claim that Wisconsin was better than tOSU because "they beat us." Not a big "what if" guy, but we would have beaten Wisconsin at the 'Shoe or on a nuetral field 9-10 times. Sadly, that wasn't what happened, so it is what it is.

It definitely is what it is..and what it was was Wisconsin running the ball down our throat that entire game....I don't care what field we were on....we were not stopping the running game that day no matter the field.

Eh. I respectfully disagree. But its over with so no point debating it. I just believe we were better than them. We just didn't show up in that game. From the opening kickoff....

You just disagreed and then agreed...LOL...make up your mind. If you read my post you will see I was referring to that game. The field didn't matter....our defense just couldn't tackle their running backs that day....period.....

Sure. They were better that night. That's all. I truly doubt they would have beat us in the 'Shoe, but we didn't play them there....so again, it is what it is.

I think it's time to revive this thread... surprisingly, no posts since last season, and we've already had a couple upsets this year!

'bama and penn state this afternoon. I'm hoping penn state pulls off the upset, but it's doubtful against the 'bama D. Hopefully college station will be a white out though... always fun to watch.

The first night game tonight at the big house... should be an amazing atmosphere as well!
