No, also the image does not show the M Package for the car.

Even back in Feb and Mar 2024 when I was tracking my car, I remember the picture on the web page started off being accurate, then at some stage changed to the wrong wheels and packages. The car arrived spec'd with what I ordered though so it's just a glitch in the tracking system.

It’s weird, isn’t it? The desktop website for me has never been an accurate representation of my order. It’s always had the incorrect tires. The mobile app has always been spot on though.

Now if I did the Google chrome developer trick and looked at all the option codes, they were correct behind the scenes. I wrote all of them down to make sure they didn’t miss anything after that one forum member in Canada reported they had botched the packages on his custom order.

When the Production Begins Status is assigned then you'll have a good idea of which week of 2025 it's going to be manufactured. Now that the catastrophic recall situation is finally resolving, hopefully this means, the dates will be true to promised.

You should have received a build sheet from the dealer while you were placing your order. It shows the production number and production week for the allocation. In cases where you don’t get this, it may mean the dealer doesn’t actually have an allocation, and your “order” is just notes about what you want that goes “into a drawer” like some dealer Scrapula dealt until they get an allocation. With the production number, you can add it to your garage at mygarage.bmwusa.com and then you’ll be able to see status updates, though nothing will happen until the production week arrives. You don’t have to wait until a VIN is assigned, the production number works as well as soon as your order is received.

Its up to you. For me, the i5 M60 isn’t sporty enough without DHP, but then my last 3 daily drivers were M3, Corvette, M5. Even if you don’t think you need that, it may improve the ride, because the active sways keep the car flatter in turns, and supposedly can disconnect when going over a bump on one side of the car, thus helping insulate the other side. I don’t think it’s dramatic like Porsche Active Ride, so it’s your call about whether the price justifies a little bit better ride quality.

Yours should work, too. Your car is on a boat, mine is still at the port so I guess it should also work for you.

Mine is not on a boat, as far as I know, and it works for me. lol. I swear we’re all being way to logical in our understanding and interpretation of BMW processes. so looks like the Daisy Leader Vessel is at Port in San Diego, not Port Hueneme. Are Vehicles offloaded there now instead of Port Hueneme in Oxnard? Or are they offloading cars/supplies for the plant in Mexico before going to Port H? I don't ever recall a vessel stopping in San Diego with previous orders.

I think my vessel stopped there briefly back in March 2024 when I was tracking it. It didn't stay long, and my car was still dropped off at Hueneme afterwards. Not sure why it stops there, but I don't think they unload the BMWs there.

It stops there to offload VW then will continue N to Port Hueneme.

As with ToddRGuy mine is at the port and the link worked fine. Replaced vinvinvin with the vin#from My Garage
