We definitely had a white Christmas yesterday morning:

Per the NYC TV news talking heads, the National Weather Service measured 1 inch of snow in Central Park yesterday morning and declared that NYC had a white Christmas as well.

Last night's low was forecast to be 14 F, but actually wound up being 5 F-rigid degrees.....

Western Oregon seems to have settled into a pattern of cool rain with frequent fog. No freezing temps for quite a while now.

Our new house has a short but steep driveway. If and when we get freezing rain or ice it could be real interesting!

My only complaint is that my bike is in the shop and they're closed until the 4th. Otherwise I'd be out riding.

We'll be rainy here with highs over 50 F for the rest of 2024.

At 8:00 AM, it was a balmy 64 F down yonder in SC at our tree farm...which is also under a tornado watch.....

A cool 48°F right now, with a high forecasted to be 68. A nice moderate next several days in our future. It's why I like SoCal winters. Only thing I'd change is add some rain to our forecast. Guess you can't have everything.

I could see my breath while grilling last night. It's the simple things that delight me the most.

Sunny and 57 now at the beach. High waves haven't really made an appearance yet. Coworker's mom made gumbo, that should warm me right up!

Yes, was very foggy for my walk last night. Enjoyed it. Hope we have more nights like that.

Mid-50's F since last night and overcast, with a brisk wind gusting over 25 MPH. Back into the freezer by the weekend per the long-range forecast.....

New Year’s day is going to be sunny with a high of 73°F. Beautiful day to spend at the park having a hike and a picnic, if I’m not too hungover. 😵

Sorry, I didn't read the entire thread to find out and didn't see it in my search...Have you guys used the following:

https://www.windy.com/

It's a great weather app with tons to explore within. Check it out.

No, you should be *concerned* that it knew your location!

FWIW, I use Windy's radar feed in my wall-mounted weather station console, but none of their forecast products.....

Second "Spring" day in a row. The snow is practically gone. I might have to mow.

BTW, that interactive wind app. is almost identical and available on the Weather Network˜.

Looks like Old Man Winter might make an appearance this coming weekend. I hope this is another overestimation for which Weather Underground is infamous.
