Lebron and Wade will play good no matter what in playoffs but they can't win it all by themselves. the bench needs to step it up its pretty plain and simple

The knicks wouldn't take more than 1 game off miami. Miami owns philly and thats the team i would want to face in the first round. Nice little warm up before the 2nd round imo

rondo always kills us, next time wade will just break his arm again

actually boston is the one team in the east i am most worried about. Hopefully chicago plays them in the 2nd round, and even then, i think that sereis would go 7. KG has been playing awesome lately

I'm excited to see what the knicks can do against heat/bulls. I'm not expecting them to win, especially without stat and lin, but they've been intense these past few games, melo has played some of his best ball in a long time. It'll be fun to watch them pull off a game or two and I think that's important going into the off season.

I think the knicks stand a much better shot vs the bulls, shump can give rose problems and as long as you dont let them rape you on the boards, they are beatable. But you cant give them 15 offensive rebounds and 25 second chance points.

focus on getting the ball out of roses hands and rebounding and the knicks can push that to 6 or maybe even 7 with a chance of winning

I don't think they're consistent enough. They lack discipline (perfectly understandable) and that needs to change. Very streaky in their scoring and defending, even when they're outplaying other teams.

the only reason melo is playing good lately is because stat and lin are out therefore he can hold the ball all he wants and shoot as much as he wants. god knows how he got on the all star team. The whole knicks team doesn't make sense way to many shooters and only one player who plays defense of a regular night which is tyson

They can play good defensive ball, just doesn't happen too often. Defense was all over the place tonight.

You're right about melo, doesn't create many plays. Lin made that a big part of their game, just at the cost of turnovers.

+1 boston has been looking really good lately. I also agree with you about Philly. They just dont stand a chance against Miami.

I think lebron would shut melo down so I'm not too worried about new york either. I'm pretty happy with where we stand ranking wise.

Chicago just needs to start losing a bit. I honestly don't get how they are so good without rose (even though he's overrated IMO). They are a bunch of somewhat good guys that work together, no real stand out.

I don't like to get on players dicks but are you serious? he was the MVP, clutch as hell and will blow past any player in the league. hes the best pg in the game right now besides cp3

Have you seen the stats of the bulls with and without him? Record is very similar, field goal percent is different by like 2%, etc.. I don't think he deserved the MVP honestly (I know that is controversial in itself). Especially since the results of the games he's not in vs the games he is in are the same pretty much.

He can blow by people, but honestly you just have to be quick for that. I think even Rondo is a better overall player than him and effects the game much more. and he wasn't clutch enough to beat the heat last year.

Honestly no one will ever convince me that Rose at this point in his career is anywhere near the best player in the league.

They win so much because they have a great defensive system and they play 100% every single night. But that also means they cant play much better than they do, also there bench is a big reason there record is as good as it is. in the playoffs the bench is not as big a factor so advantage miami there.

Also, Bulls have yet to show they have a 2nd option that can create and knock down a big shot, i dont think rip is that guy but we will see. Not really worried about chicago, more worried about a healthy boston lol

As for Ny, they just chuck and chuck and chuck lol With miamis d, they would not get more than 1 game imo.


I dont think rose deserved it last year either but bulls bigs were banged up and he did play well, he is a top 7 player imo, ranking somewhere between 5-7. he is overrated to the homers who have him as a top 3 player and underrated by people who have him outside their top 10

The heat are somewhat of an exception to the play vs not play thing because they have wade and lebron who score similarly. So if one doesn't play the other picks up the slack, but honestly if lebron didn't play for 22 games like rose, you'd see a big difference. but that is because he is true MVP material and a phenomenal player, rose is very good but not the top player. I'd rank him similarly to the guy above, in the top 6-8 players in the league.

I don't agree that he's the best PG in the league. cp3, westbrook, and rondo are just as good or better IMO. And MVP should be reserved for the best player in the league that made the biggest impact during the season. Rose wasn't that.

Regardless, I see OKC vs. Bulls in the finals this year. But of course, the Spurs, Lakers, Celtics or Heat could always make a run and go to the finals... and then there are the Clippers...

Just dont see the bulls making it out of the east. They have the same problem as last year, no legit 2nd option. Rip is not enough of an improvement, they lost in 5 last year so maybe they lose in 6 this year.
