I usually go on about once a week, if that anymore. Most the time I'm consumed in doing other things. I hang out with my friends a lot more now playing tennis and going to the beach, went golfing alone yesterday, yardwork, got hunting license for the year so will be busy doing that..., life is good.

That and there's no personality through online stuff. You can text and type one way, but how you behave in the real world is more telling of your character than;

You can't. Even then it's like people don't want to talk online for that long and it fades away. It's more gratifying going out in the world and reading someones body language, and helps with improving social skills.

Real life meeting vs. digital meeting are 2 different things. Internet provides a false sense of anonymity to people. They are more likely to act tough, say riskier things.

This. Whenever I go to restaurants, people are more engaged in phones than in the other people. My nieces and nephews are doing it, they are in the single digits.

My restaurant guys are also noticing as people on there phones limiting the social interaction is causing people to order less.

If someone strikes up a convo, I'll give them my time. It doesn't mean she/he wants anything from me. Some people don't get that. They always think someone is after something from them. It's refreshing to have someone look up and discuss "whatever". That being said, if they're super obnoxious, I can't deal.

I always start up conversations at the bar. I don't want to sit there and look at my phone the whole time. Hell I hate the fact I even have a phone, but it's needed for work and shit. I just want someone to talk to, if I wanted to sit in silence then you can stay home and do that.
